POKS Bang Bang Shrimp & Salmon

With our bang bang shrimp and salmon recipe, the Asian-inspired bang bang sauce meets the toasty warmth of the POKS Jollof Rice West African Seasoning.

Serve it on a bed of fluffy jasmine rice as a canvas to unearth the flavor bursts where east-meets-west. Each bite evokes a balance of heat, sweetness, toastiness, umami and creaminess, taking you on a culinary adventure as you savor bold West African flavors.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 oz Salmon (skin on)
  • 8 to 10 Large Shrimp
  • 2 Tbsp Corn Starch
  • 1 Tbsp Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Mayo
  • 1 Tbsp POKS Jollof Rice West African Seasoning
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Neutral Oil
  • 1 Cup Rice (cooked)
  • Chives (for garnish)

RECIPE:

  • Pat dry the seafood and evenly coat with the corn starch.
  • Fry in a shallow pan using oil to cover half way.
  • In a small bowl mix the mayo, chili sauce, POKS Seasoning and salt to taste.
  • Pour the sauce over the cooked seafood and garnish with chives.
  • Serve over rice.
